Not too long ago, we were featured in an article by Mobile Home Parts Store in regards to RV finances and it really was an eye-opening experience. It's always nice to talk about things as transparently as you can, and walk away knowing that your truths may just help someone else out there get inspired and motivated to start their own journey. A lot of retired RVers spend a ton of money on the road, simply because they're retired and ready for a road-trip-inspired vacation. For us, it's bit different, as we've made this our full-time lifestyle, and don't have a huge pension or savings to draw from. But fear not friends, full-time travel is possible no matter your budget. Vanessa and I truly believe that.
Mobile Home Parts Store has come out with a new article as of late, and we'd love nothing more than to share it with our readers. Maybe it'll get a great dialogue going about The Best RV Parks in the United States, since everyone has that special place on the road that fits snugly in their hearts. Their article is a Part I, so it focuses on North Carolina, Florida, and Texas. It was nice to see Ocala, FL on the list, as that was the very first RV park that Vanessa and I stayed at last year when we kicked off our journey. Just to give a little insight, we hadn't cleaned out our water systems yet and were washing our food dishes outside under the spigot and letting the sun dry them. A woman next to us said "Boy, you really are roughing it, huh?" As easy as it is now to clean our dishes right in the sink, one of our fondest memories is bringing our tub of dishes outside in the sun and washing them together.
